Trip Description

This journey follows a path that begins in the lively heart of Delhi, moves through Agra and Jaipur, and then turns toward the sacred city of Varanasi. The Golden Triangle brings history, colour, and architectural depth. Varanasi brings a different kind of experience, shaped by rituals, river light, and quiet moments before sunrise. Together they create a route that feels complete, balanced, and deeply human. SkyZeg guides you through these contrasts with care so each day feels steady and meaningful.

DAY 1 – Arrival in Delhi

You arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport where our local team greets you and brings you to your hotel. Once you settle in, Delhi begins to reveal itself. The wide avenues and old public buildings of New Delhi tell the story of a city shaped by many rulers. India Gate rises at the end of Rajpath while the Presidential Palace and Parliament stand with a quiet dignity. Later you visit Bangla Sahib where the golden dome reflects gently in the water. The calm inside the temple offers a peaceful welcome to India.

DAY 2 – Delhi to Jaipur

The morning brings you into Old Delhi. Jama Masjid stands above the surrounding lanes, and the cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk shows the city at its most energetic. Stalls filled with fabrics, spices, and sweets sit side by side as voices fill the air. You pass the Red Fort from the outside and stop at Raj Ghat, a place of silent remembrance. After lunch the journey continues from Delhi to Jaipur. As the city lights fade behind you, the landscape opens and small villages appear along the road. Jaipur welcomes you with warm colours and a slower desert breeze.

DAY 3 – Visit Jaipur

At sunrise you have the option to see Jaipur from a hot air balloon, drifting above villages and old forts. After breakfast the day continues at Amber Fort. Its courtyards, mirrored halls, and hilltop position offer wide views across the valley. Later you explore the heart of Jaipur. Jantar Mantar stands with its stone and metal instruments. City Palace holds rooms filled with artworks and stories. The front of Hawa Mahal rises like a screen of carved windows. As evening settles, you ride through the markets in a rickshaw while the city glows in soft pink tones.

DAY 4 – Jaipur to Agra

The road toward Agra brings two important stops. Chand Baori in Abhaneri appears first. The stepwell drops deep into the earth with a geometric pattern that feels both ancient and precise. Further along lies Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Emperor Akbar. Its palaces, corridors, and courtyards remain intact even though the city was abandoned centuries ago. Silent halls and open squares tell the story of a place once filled with life. By late afternoon you reach Agra and settle in.

DAY 5 – Visit Agra

Your morning begins inside Agra Fort. Thick walls protect a maze of rooms, open terraces, and marble details that carry the memory of the Mughal court. In the evening the Taj Mahal waits quietly on the riverbank. The change of light reveals new colours on the marble. The atmosphere becomes softer and everything slows for a moment. It is an experience that stays with most travellers long after they leave the city. You rest for the night in Agra.

DAY 6 – Agra to Delhi to Varanasi

After breakfast you travel from Agra to Delhi by road and continue onward by plane to Varanasi. Upon arrival the city feels different from anything you have seen so far. In the afternoon you witness the aarti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges. Lamps flicker in the air, prayers rise from the steps, and the river reflects the glow of the evening. It is a moment that carries a calm intensity and introduces you to the spiritual rhythm of the city.

DAY 7 – Visit Varanasi

Before dawn you board a small boat and glide along the Ganges. Pilgrims gather on the ghats to bathe, pray, and begin their day with offerings to the rising sun. The early light, the sound of bells, and the slow movement of the river create a scene that feels timeless. After returning to your hotel you explore the narrow lanes of Varanasi and visit temples such as Bharat Mata and Durga. Later you travel to Sarnath where Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. The ruins, stupas, and museum pieces reflect centuries of devotion and learning. You return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

DAY 8 – Varanasi to Delhi

After breakfast you fly from Varanasi to Delhi. On arrival you visit the Qutub Minar complex, a tall stone tower surrounded by ancient arches and carvings. Its quiet presence contrasts with the movement of the city around it. You then return to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 9 – Departure from Delhi

A slow breakfast marks your final morning. When the time arrives, we bring you to the airport. The journey ends, but the images of the river, the forts, the palaces, and the early light of Varanasi remain close.
